Holland Hotels Issue |
Once a Frenchman who lived in a Holland inn hotel in
the remote XVI century wrote down in his diary that Holland has more
houses on water than on land. Under those houses on water the witty
Frenchman meant ships: in those years no other country disposed of a
larger navy than Holland. He traced all the houses in usual
interpretation to land, and here we may argue with him. What is the
difference between land and water in a state the name of which is
translated as "Low Countries" due to its location below the sea level?
The motto (customary rather than national) on the Netherlands coat of
arms is literally translated as "I will maintain" and here a thoughtful
tourist can look for something to do with the country's incessant
struggle against the sea (have you ever thought of the infinite number
of dikes in Holland?). But if the land issue is so thorny where can a
poor tourist find cheap Holland hotels? For all of them must be
incredibly expensive! We are glad to inform you that you are wrong.
Lying on the western edge of the
European mainland, this highly
civilized country provides tourists of any budget level with proper
accommodation. Three- or four-star cheap Holland hotels can be found
along with the splendid, luxurious and all-comfortable five-star
Holland court hotel variants. Holland hotels are
usually much smaller than their European counterparts. Every here and
there one finds hotels run by independent families considering hotel business as
key occupation of their life. There is no use thinking hard about your
future accommodation in Holland hotels. |
